Around The World
In the 16th century there were many people who didn’t know much about the world. They knew that planet Earth was sphere-shaped, but nobody had ever sailed right around the globe. There were still many oceans to explore and new countries and trade routes to discover. Adventurers were keen to sail in new directions to reach the other side of the world.
